Blogging Tools For Bloggers Addicts
You’ve running your blog for a couple month, you think that you can achieve more than this, you want to be a better blogger. Then you need the essential tools to be a better blogger. Here’s a list of tools I personally use that will improve your blogging experience and productivity. Being well equipped will make you a better blogger, and being a better blogger means gaining the respect and affection among your weird and fuzzy blogging peers and readers. :D
Software
- Wordpress - The ultimate open-source blogging platform is about to get better with the release of version 2.1. With hundreds of plug-ins available to expand the capability of Wordpress, there’s nothing this beast can’t do.
Notable: Moveable Type, Typepad, Blogger
- Adobe Dreamweaver - This handy HTML and CSS editor will immensely shorten the time needed to design and edit your blog. The built-in FTP capability is also handy for transferring files to and from your web server.
Noteable: NVU - Google Analytics - Google Analytics does a great job of keeping track of where visitors are coming from, and what they’re doing while surfing your blog. If you’re serious about increasing your readership, a stats utility is a must.
Notable: Sitemeter, Crazy Egg -
Adobe Photoshop CS2 - The most powerful graphic editing program on the web. Take the time to learn it, and you’ll make the difference.
Notable: fireworks, gimp
- Firefox - This award-winning Web browser is fast, secure and fully customizable with many extensions.
Noteable: Opera
- Great News - Although I still prefer reading blogs directly, there’s no doubt that a RSS reader helps manage all the news happening around the blogosphere. If you want to stay on top of the game, it’s an essential tool in your blogging arsenal.
Notable: Bloglines, google reader
- Fast Stone - FastStone is a handy capture software. It has many option to fully support your work.
Hardware
- AMD Power - I use AMD 2100+, with RAM 640mb, plus 80 gb hard disk, and ATI Radeon 9500. Mmm…with a special case made from wood :p and a big fan :p
- Siemens CX 75 (rip) - If you want to run a professional blog, you need the three tools to take a picture, record a video and record a voice. The cheaper one is use your handphone, many handphone nowadays have an extra tools for take a picture and record a video.

- Kingston Flashdisk - Usefull tools to save all of your work. Just use a portable applications, and you’re more than ready to be a better blogger :D

kalo aku sih yang penting adalah ISI POSTINGAN-nya..
soal tools dan segala tetek bengeknya, menurutku gak begitu penting..
buat apa kita punya blog, tapi ISINYA GAK MUTU?
tentu kalo isi blog kita bagus, tanpa segala tools-tools njelimet macam itu, orang akan banyak datang.. betul??
bahkan ada yg ndak terima terus NGEHACK blog-ku sing wagu dan ra mutu itu..

oiya, fasilitas “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” di bawah ini munrutku cukup mengganggu.. coba ilangi wae, kang.. :D

Wah… kok Blog Manager / Blog Editor macam wbloggar, WLW, Qumana, Zoundry, BlogJet, BlogDesk malah nggak ada? Atau, paling nggak performancing untuk FF atau malah perambah yang sudah punya blogging tool terintegrasi macam flock.
Perlu ditambah tools-nya itu, Kang. Saya belum kecanduan blog saja dah make wbloggar loh… Kalau capture image pake SnagIT yang versi retak alias crack atau versi luku alias bajak.
